Prep Time: 15 mins
Cook Time: 35 mins
Total Time: 50 mins
Servings: 8
Yield: 1 (12-inch) pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground breakfast sausage
  • 1 (8-ounce) package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a deep-dish or rimmed 12-inch pizza pan.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and fully cooked, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks, about 10 minutes. Drain excess grease and set aside.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. Arrange them in the prepared pan with the pointed ends facing inward. Press the seams together to form a solid crust, extending the dough slightly up the sides of the pan.
  4. Evenly spread the cooked sausage over the crust. Layer the hash browns on top, followed by the shredded Cheddar cheese.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until smooth. Carefully pour the mixture evenly over the pizza.
  6. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the eggs are fully set and the crust is golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Chefs Notes

  • Make sure hash browns are fully thawed and patted dry to avoid excess moisture.
  • Swap sausage for bacon or ham for a different flavor variation.
  • Add diced bell peppers or onions for extra texture and flavor.
  • For a crispier crust, pre-bake the crescent dough for 5–7 minutes before adding toppings.
  • This reheats well, making it perfect for meal prep breakfasts.
