Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips or chunks
- 1/3 cup toffee bits
- 1 1/4 cups sweetened flaked coconut
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup candy-coated chocolate pieces (such as M&Ms)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a 13×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang on the sides for easy removal.
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until evenly moistened. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a crust.
- Evenly scatter the chocolate chips, toffee bits, and coconut over the crust layer.
- In a separate bowl, stir together the sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter until smooth. Pour evenly over the layered ingredients.
- Sprinkle the top with candy-coated chocolates.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is set and slightly bubbly.
- Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan for at least 1 hour.
- Lift out using the parchment overhang and cut into 24 squares before serving.
Chefs Notes
- For extra crunch, add chopped nuts like pecans or walnuts.
- Swap peanut butter for almond butter or leave it out for a different flavor profile.
- Chilling the bars before slicing makes cleaner cuts and firmer squares.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for longer freshness.
