Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips or chunks
  • 1/3 cup toffee bits
  • 1 1/4 cups sweetened flaked coconut
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup candy-coated chocolate pieces (such as M&Ms)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a 13×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until evenly moistened. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a crust.
  3. Evenly scatter the chocolate chips, toffee bits, and coconut over the crust layer.
  4. In a separate bowl, stir together the sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter until smooth. Pour evenly over the layered ingredients.
  5. Sprinkle the top with candy-coated chocolates.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is set and slightly bubbly.
  7. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan for at least 1 hour.
  8. Lift out using the parchment overhang and cut into 24 squares before serving.

Chefs Notes

  • For extra crunch, add chopped nuts like pecans or walnuts.
  • Swap peanut butter for almond butter or leave it out for a different flavor profile.
  • Chilling the bars before slicing makes cleaner cuts and firmer squares.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for longer freshness.
